THIN LEAR JOINS EGGHUNT ROSTER TO RELEASE DEBUT LP

It has been a long time coming, (We first met Thin Lear last year in June), but we are filled with excitement and joy to bring this amazing album into the world. The LP in question is Wooden Cave, and EARMILK states “Thin Lear melds the spontaneous electricity of a live room with the meticulousness of careful, deliberate production in a way only a master of his craft would.”

Hailing from Queens, NY, Thin Lear (aka Matt Longo) writes songs in all-night flurries of activity in his Astoria apartment. Pulling influences from the insular world of Astral Weeks, the melodic adventurousness of Harry Nilsson, and the eclecticism of Shuggie Otis, Thin Lear creates songs existing on a sonic and lyrical island of their own. The result is eleven tracks sprawling from ornate, warm ballads, to psychedelically-tinged folk, to propulsive grooves, brimming with melody and heart.

Wooden Cave will be released in full on April 24th, 2020. The first single “Maniacs” will premiere on Feb 5th at which time Pre-Orders will go live. We are excited to be planning a total of (3) singles during this rollout, an extensive US tour and much more!
